Next small town Hvolsvölluris 20 min away. 20 minutes to drive to next waterfall, Seljalandsfoss, 40 min to Skógafoss. Around 1 hour to drive to Vík í Mýrdal, and 1 hour to the "Golden cirkle". 10 min to Landeyjahöfn - the harbour to Vestmanneyjar. You can see some famous volcanoes and hear the sounds from the ocean .

Our porch gives you a unique view of two glaciers Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. The view of northern lights is amazing from the porch in the winter time. The moss covered lava surroundings are rich with berries and birdlife in the summer time.
