The Windy Roost Polenza

New for 2023, Pollenza is a south facing cabin Located on the East NC 500. Sat on an 11 acre croft, it has views encompassing the sea to the South and the amazing coastal cliffs and stunning mountains to the West. What an idylic place to relax and base your scottish holiday from. With low levels of light pollution, a clear galaxy of unbelievable stars and planets look as though they can be reached for. Sitting on the terrace at night is one of the most breathtaking experiences we have seen. Also, as south facing, the sunsets and sunrises are also a memory in the making. You may also experience the Tornado jets fly over as they are based at RAF Lossiemouth. The Cairn hut

Get away from it all when you stay in our cosy shepherds hut. Set 2 miles from the NC500 route near the village of Lybster in a rural spot. Get ready for country views and big dark skies at night. An ideal spot to capture the aurora borealis or see the wild deer roaming the surrounding fields. Our cosy cabin is capable of sleeping up to 2 adults and 1 child. The cabin has an induction hob for cooking and comes with its own seperate bathroom facility next door plus an outside firepit area.

We are situated on the NC500 route. Lybster is a very quiet and peaceful village with much to see and do. We have a beautiful harbour, golf course and “Whaligoe steps” are less than 8 miles away as are the historic “Camster Cairns”, "Dunrobin Castle" only 50 minutes drive and the "Castle of Mey" about 45 minutes drive away.
