Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. In 2022 the cottage was completely renovated inside and out. New plumbing and electrical was also completed. This charming cottage boasts 1 bedroom/Full Bed. The open beam design painted all white and dark brown flooring make the cottage feel much larger than its 26x20 foot print. The property also boasts a dock and outdoor grill. Truly charming!

There is no indoor plumbing - a private portable toilet is around the corner of the barn.

Our one-hundred acre farm is located in the small rural village of Washington. It is located just 2/10 of a mile from the village center where the general store, village church, library, and town offices are located. Beautiful Washington Pond boat landing is only 4/10 of a mile away. Easy commute East (30 minutes) to the coast and must see towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden or West (30 minutes) to our capitol Augusta. One hour and forty minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Our peaceful 16 acre wetland meadow/ wooded property is teeming with birds and wildlife, wild cranberries, and a short trail system making this a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature year round. Seasonal access to the St. George River and White Oak Pond, allow for paddling May to October. We are just 3.5 miles from historic Union Common, the oldest Common in Maine, and 1/2 mile from Beth's Farm Market, featuring baked goods, fresh produce, milk, and fall activities in season!

This home is in a country setting on Hatchet Mountain in Hope near the beautiful Maine coast and about 8 miles from Camden. About a mile from our home, is Hobbs Pond (2 miles long!) with public access for swimming, boating and kayaking. Hiking trails surround us, too! Beaver Lodge, a favorite spot for weddings and other family events, is also nearby. This listing has an exemption for all animals. For safety reasons, it may not be suitable for young children.
