The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.

The fisherman's cottage is situated right on the water's edge and has a panoramic view of the dam and indigenous forest. Relax and enjoy the abundant bird life or tumble out of bed to cast a line for bass. The cottage is centrally located on the Midlands Meander in the Balgowan area, and is close to popular restaurants and wedding venues.

Filled with lush plants, the stylish Green-House is set among fruit trees, looking out over a hill of flowers and has a veggie garden and hen-house to forage in. Set on an expansive wooden deck, surrounded by nature there is no TV to distract you!
