In the cooler months stay warm with an in-tent wood stove and heated mattress pad. Breakfast is available upon request and served overlooking the river on the tent porch. The tent is located on 19 acres of pristine nature in the Shawangunk mountains, minutes from Minnewaska State Park, and hikes to waterfalls and high mountain lakes. Guests can stay in the forest and enjoy the amenities of our retreat center, including the cedar barrel sauna, communal kitchen and bath house. It’s a great location to relax and immerse in nature.

Shady Knolls campsite established in 2017 is a very secluded remote campsite just outside the village of Woodstock. Accessible by SUV. Amenities include queen size bed, campfire pit, canopy covered porch and picnic area. This is a 5 star campsite, water and firewood provided. We provide fresh bedding for all new arrivals. Adirondack chairs provide a place to kick back, enjoy the great views and get away from it all. Campsite is open from May 15 until November 1st.

This is a large tent, elevated four feet on a wooden platform. The property abuts the preserve forest under Mohonk Mountain, nestled against Coxing Kill Creek. This space offers near-complete privacy on the edge of the property, isolated from the bustle of farm life. Electricity is provided, but there is no Wi-Fi or running water.
