The Joiner's Cottage

Welcome to The Joiner's Cottage, a charming Lakeland house with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Situated in a small hamlet less than two miles from the village of Coniston, a 30 minute walk from the lake shore and just a 20 minute stroll along a public footpath to the local pub in Torver. The walk up the Old Man of Coniston starts at the front door. This spacious cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is very dog friendly. Pets cost £20.00 in total for their stay. (Just put 1 in the dog box).

Set in the fabulous Woodland valley close to Coniston. Latter Rigg Cottage is the perfect place to relax, unwind & explore the Lake District. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a comfortable living room & a fully equipped kitchen. We allow a maximum of four guests including children. Up to two dogs are welcome at Latter Rigg Cottage. Joy's Cottage, Coniston

Joy's Cottage, built at the end of the 17th Century, stands at the southern end of a small row of cottages at Parkgate; adjacent to our own; 1 mile south of Coniston village on the west shore of the lake. There are fine views from the garden over fields to Coniston Water and across the lake to Brantwood, John Ruskin's home. The cottage is ideally place for exploring the Coniston fells and Lake shore.
