Created by people who don’t like having the doors closed, the house has been designed to make inside and outside feel like one... the covered veranda is a seamless extension of the home, where rattan furniture, swinging chairs, floor rugs, a bar and a floating lounge beneath the palm trees will make it hard to leave. Add to that a woodfire pizza oven, fire pit, BBQ, dartboard and outdoor games, and there’s seemingly no need to venture beyond the garden gate.... except the beach - only 200m away!

Rocklea Beach Retreat is nestled in the sleepy Church Estate of Torquay. Wander down to Spring Creek Nature Reserve, stroll to nearby shops, cafes and breweries, explore coastal trails, lookouts, and the region’s famous beaches, waterfalls and wineries. Enjoy relaxing upstairs with views over the valley in the spacious yoga / living room, or enjoy a sunset drink on the deck. Come down for the weekend, the holidays, or use the workspace as a writers’ retreat away from the busyness of the city.

Torquay Farm Stay Blue Studio Truck

Our farm is close to Great Ocean Road Beaches, National Parks and Coastal towns such as Torquay, Anglesea and Barwon Heads. The tiny house created on the truck is an architectual delight. It is quite unique. Blue truck is situated on our beautiful biodynamic working farm with views of the green hills, creek and wetland. Horses, cows, ducks and chooks roam around and you are nestled in a peaceful tranquil wonderland of nature at it's best. My place is perfect for couples and families (with kids).

Wander out the front gate and straight onto Surf Coast Walk, where magnificent coastal views can be enjoyed immediately. A 200 metre stroll to Jan Juc village and its eateries, hotel and general store, and just a few minutes more to Bird Rock look out, overlooking Jan Juc beach. A 5-7 minute drive to central Torquay or Bells Beach.

Complete self-contained, lower level of our home with its own entrance and private back yard. This is a ground level unit, with 2 Queen beds. All occupants - are considered paying guests. Staying at La Casa Cubo you are only three hundred metres from the beach, but will feel like you have travelled a million miles from real life. All are safe and welcome here.

Architecturally designed, this compact studio is a 15 minute walk from Jan Juc beach and shops with Torquay and Bells Beach only a short drive away. The studio is attached to the main house, but has its own private courtyard entrance with off-street parking right outside the front door. The perfect place for a short stay!
