A beautiful hand-renovated 1960s railway carriage, nestled in a quiet rural farm in Norton le Clay, North Yorkshire. Featuring bespoke detail throughout, our unique hideaway features a luxurious double bed with TV, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a cosy log burner. Outside, enjoy the fenced private space with a fire pit/BBQ, games and seating overlooking the iconic White Horse. Tucked behind a wildflower bank with its own track and parking, this is a peaceful spot to unwind.

Manor House Cottage self catering rural location

Manor House Cottage is located in the small hamlet of Holme-On-Swale 7 miles from the market town of Thirsk which is known for its connection to James Herriott and within easy reach of North Yorkshires National Parks. Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

The Apple Shed @ Rose Cottage

The Apple Shed is a luxury stay in the heart of North Yorkshire, easy driving distance to Ripon, Thirsk, Harrogate & York. We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Located in the heart of Dishforth Village it’s walking distance a village drinking pub and a five minute drive to the award winning Crab & Lobster restaurant and The Angel at Topcliffe.

Riverside Studio Apartment

This unique place has a style of its own adjacent to the River Tutt, based on the edge of a charming historic town in the heart of North Yorkshire within easy driving distance of the Dales, Harrogate & York. The choice of a vibrant high street with inviting cafes, shops, pubs, restaurants or beautiful walks across the fields or alongside the idyllic River Ure. Points of historic interest include the Devils Arrows standing stones, beautiful Churches & buildings dating back to the 17th century.

The Cobbler's Cottage

Nestled in the scenic North Yorkshire village of Sessay, this charming former cobbler's cottage offers a spacious retreat. Inside, you'll find a wood-burning stove, TV, Blu-ray player, and a modern kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, and a washing machine. Step outside to a private patio complete with a dining area and barbecue. Plus, we warmly welcome one well-behaved pet, so you can bring your furry friend along if you desire.

The Nook - Hidden gem, secluded, peaceful, modern.

The Nook is a converted garage unit which is detached from our house with private entrance, outdoor seating area and key safe for entry. Accommodation comprises of living room/kitchenette, bedroom and wet room. Selection of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A T.V/D.V.D player are for your use, as is a microwave and induction hob for light cooking. Comfortable seating and a small dining area complete the main room.

The Old Chapel: A luxury Hot Tub break

The Quaint Old Chapel is a quirky, detached historic conversion in rural Catton, Thirsk. Surrounded by stunning views, it offers endless walks, including a beautiful trail along the River Swale. Designed for pure relaxation, a luxury hot tub spa is fully included in the price. Perfect for pet lovers, the chapel features a rare, temperature-controlled dog wash to spoil your four-legged friend after a day of exploring. Includes private parking for two cars. A true North Yorkshire gem!

Grantham Flat is a 2 bedroom ground floor flat situated in the heart of Boroughbridge. Spacious & stylishly decorated, with free wifi & parking. Boroughbridge has a fine selection of shops & pubs and is only a couple of minutes drive from the A1. There is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, crockery and pots. 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed & one with a single & pull out plus comfy lounge & large TV.

Skipton House Annex has plenty of character, rural charm and is ideally located near the A1 in-between North York Moors and Dales. Set over two levels, the large open plan kitchen/dining room, shower/loo and entrance hallway are on the ground floor with a living/TV room and bedroom up the spiral staircase on the first floor. There are French doors that open up to access the courtyard. The loo/shower is located on the ground floor and courtyard is shared with main house.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.
