A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. This is a newly renovated old Japanese house, a middle-class residence built in 1929 and renovated in 2017. It is a legal accommodation permitted by the city of Osaka. Located in the southern part of Osaka, a very quiet residential area. 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station, Kishinosato. It is easy to reach Namba, Umeda by subway, KIX and Koyasan by Nankai Railway. The 7-11 convenience store is one minute away. The Sento public bath is also very close to my house.

Hinoki house: Traditional machiya, walk to sights.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

It is a detached house for rent. Self check-in with smart lock. There is a supermarket nearby, so shopping is very convenient. Access to world heritage sites such as [Koyasan] and [Mozu Furuichi Burial Mounds] is also good, and the limousine bus goes directly to Kansai Airport and Nankai Koya Line Namba Station. Good place before or after Koyasan. Small but lots of good bars and restaurants. And little nature stuff. Good walking spot for sunrise / sunset. On the way to Koyasan . 5 min to nearest metro( Kongo station). 25 min to Namba. No tourists around here but definitely recommend spending some time here !!
