Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Located at the end of a quiet lane, with a stunning view of the Allegheny River, our riverfront cabin is the perfect getaway to relax with family and friends. Nestled right between Tidioute and Warren, our cabin is close to many sites within the National Forest: Buckaloons, Heart's Content, Rocky Gap, etc. There's also a great view of Crull's Island, a 96 acre paradise within the Allegheny Wilderness Area. Be on the lookout for heron, osprey, waterfowl, deer, and the amazing bald eagle!

A cozy home with nearby fishing, hunting, historical landmarks, cross country, skiing, hiking, biking, antique shops, boating, and kayaking/ canoeing. Moments away from adventures nearby including the Kinzua Dam where the Alleghany River is poured from. Peaceful & quiet for relaxation. 😊Pets are permitted an additional cleaning fee is charged. “Must” notify us if planning on having a pet with you on your visit .

Surrounded completely by the Allegheny National Forest, this Private Cabin sits on approx 30 acres within a walking distance of Salmon Creek and the North Country Trail. This Cabin has 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath and sleeps up to 6 people. Deer, turkey, small game and the occasional bear reside in the acreage in and around this property. Enjoy the true meaning of tranquility and recreation in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest and explore what Mother Nature is truly about.

Come and enjoy a warm fire up in the woods under the beautiful Hemlock trees, as well as the bubbling, steamy hot tub tucked under our pergola behind the house. Beautifully cozy cottage just a few steps away from charming Lake Edinboro. Just 1.7 miles to Edinboro University and 30 minutes from Downtown Erie or Presque Isle State Park. Experience boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing on Lake Edinboro and the best Steelhead fishing in the fall and Spring on our local streams just minutes away. Enjoy the winter months at Mt. Pleasant ski resort, ice fishing or cross country skiing with many trail at our area parks.

Creekside Cabin has all the modern amenities you want in a secluded location that's convenient to everything Cook Forest and the Clarion River have to offer. Check us out on FB/IG @creeksidecabin788 The cabin does not have WiFi and cell phone reception is spotty in the area. Well-behaved furry friends can stay at the cabin for a fee of $25 per pet (max 2). During the winter months we highly recommend using vehicles with 4WD/AWD to access the property.
