It is situated conveniently to the seaside village of Downings, with white sand beaches and hearty pubs available to explore. The Sandpiper Wing is situated by the sea

On the waters edge of Lough Swilly an addition to the main house. It consists of One Bedroom with Fourposter Bed. An extra bedroom with bunk beds can be also taken to accommodate extra guests. The Sandpiper can be rented on short term and winter lets. All windows have views of the sea and steps from the house walking down to the sea for swims or a walk along the shore. The local area is beautiful to explore with beaches, golf courses, and fun activities for kids such as Wild Ireland. Explore a little further heading to Malin head, Irelands most Northerly point, or the famous Giants causeway, or Glenveagh national park only about an hours drive. Some great local restaurants too.

The cottage has been lovingly restored, in the traditional style and is kept cosy with a wood burning stove and oil fired central heating. The snug mezzanine bedroom overlooks the kitchen/sitting room, a delightful place to rest your head after a day's exploring.

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
