Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

If you are looking for a place next to river and nature this is your target! This cozy house built on 1970's suits really well for families (5 bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom and 2 toilets). The whole house is in your free use. The river is only 18 meters away from the house. We are not offering luxury apartment but instead something better. We offer cozy, spacious and relaxing oldfashion countryside house with excellent hiking, fishing, berry-picking and ice fishing possibilities.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Rentoudu kauniin Kemijoen varrella v. 1811 hirsimökissä. Remontoitu nykyaikaisin mukavuuksin v.2021. Pihanavetassa uusi sauna/wc ja grillitupa sekä terassi . Toinen erikseen kesäaikaan vuokrattavissa oleva sauna on aivan rannalla, saunan yhteydessä on palju sekä 8h grillillä varustettu huvimaja. Suotuvene käytössä asukkaille. This traditional Finnish cottage is located by the Lake Norvajärvi 15 km from the center of Rovaniemi and 10 km from the airport. We have renovated the cottage in summer and fall 2019&2022 for your better use. Here you can feel the Finnish cottage culture and enjoy the peace of nature and silence. If the weather is good for the Northern lights and you want to see them this is the place.
