This private timber-framed guesthouse is a stone's throw from Seymour Lake and a ten minute drive from downtown Smithers. It has beautiful wood furnishings, a king-sized bed, a fully-stocked kitchen, and is situated on a large forested property. Our place is perfect for couples looking to get away; fishers, hunters, and skiers searching for a home base; and travellers wanting to experience the British Columbian wilderness. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate kids due to the lake front access.

We are located on 1.5 miles of private Bulkley River frontage and world class fishing. It is 5 minute walk to the river. This is a quiet rural setting 10 minutes to Smithers. The neighbourhood is quiet with beautiful views and great walking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. Great for couples, families w children, solo, business travellers and perfect for fishermen . The suite has a private entrance, clean and comfy. Located half a block from Main Street, many amenities within walking distance. This is a cozy suite in a stand alone house. It has a gas fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. It has one queen sized bed in a large bedroom. We can also provide a single sized foam mattress for the floor upon request for a third guest. For those with mobility issues there are three steps to enter. Please note that we have a smart tv for streaming services, no cable connection.

Located on a quite ally, the house is separated from the main house by a large privacy screen.

The kitchenette is stocked for your first couple of breakfasts, including daily fresh eggs.
