Venbridge Hut

Come and enjoy our beautiful, comfortable and well equipped shepherds' hut located in an orchard on our smallholding in the middle of rural Devon. Dartmoor National Park, Castle Drogo, great pubs, cycling and walking are on the doorstep and our proximity to the A30 (approx 1/2 mile) means that it also makes for an easy trip to the vibrant cathedral city of Exeter, the attractive stannary town of Chagford and North & South coast beaches (in under an hour's drive). Shobrooke Mill Farmhouse

Shobrooke Mill Farmhouse is a peaceful and quintessential English country retreat - a Grade II listed farmhouse with truly breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside. Just a 15 minute drive to Exeter city centre and 30 minutes to the closest beach. A local train station with routes from north to south Devon is within a mile. There is an extensive network of footpaths from the front gate along the famous Tarka Trail with some superb country pubs on the way, including the Beer Engine.

An architect designed self catered guesthouse with boutique cabin style accommodation for two. Dark skies and tranquillity allow you to see the stars and hear owls call but the cottage also has fast fibre broadband, a smart TV, excellent showers and a charcoal BBQ.

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign

Idyllically located, near The Two Moors Way and Dartmoor. Ideal for an overnight stop between London and Cornwall. Large accommodation space, peaceful setting surrounded by lovely gardens. Great size bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bath/shower room. Large open plan living and kitchen area. Infants of less than two years old welcome, sharing their parents’ bedroom space. Dog friendly. NB. Not suitable for anyone with limited mobility due to two steps into bedroom.
