Kawakawa Hut

Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. Tui Cabin

This container home is set in a private spot surrounded by native bush with a view of the mountain through the trees. The interior of the cabin consists of a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and wood burner. The container has a cosy ambience with lots of light on a sunlit day. Large ranchsliders connect you to the natural world outside for hiking, kayaking, canoeing, skiing or mountain exploring. Walk across the road to dine or relax and cook at home.

Painted Skies - Country Guest House

'Painted Skies' is a modern two bedroom guest house situated on our 20 acre lifestyle block 3km from the Te Kuiti township in the heart of the King Country. Come and relax on your own private deck with a glass of bubbles and experience our extensive views to the west and picturesque sunsets. Located just minutes from the quaint township of Piopio and a 35 minute drive to the famous Waitomo Caves. On a working dairy farm, Waitui Rest provides a great place for couples looking for a romantic weekend away or a convenient stop when travelling between Waikato and Taranaki.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided.
