The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

It is remote and therefor very peaceful, private and safe - perfect retreat for couples, solo adventurers and families, especially kids.

Rose Cottage is a stand alone century old farm cottage made postcard-perfect by the milieu of flowers, horses, green fields, dramatic mountains and adjacent farm dam. Newly redecorated, featuring a luxury double bed, two single beds and a sofa bed. Fireplace in the open plan living/kitchen area. Wi-Fi, TV with FIRESTICK prime video, netflix! We are visited by a variety of bird sounds and early morning chicken crowing to remind you of country living at it's best We would love to offer you a guided bird tour or mountain walks to the Marloth waterfall or Bontebok Park game drive on the breathtaking Breede River banks.
