Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The home is in a quiet subdivision on a large double lot facing a dead end street. The home is a 1/2 mile from Ozark Medical Center while City water park, shopping, dining, Country Club, MSU and historic downtown West Plains are all within a short distance. There is easy access to and from the main highway without the noise. The house is spacious with lots of room to stretch out, both inside and outside.

Have a family outdoor movie night on the projector screen or sip your locally brewed coffee watching wildlife on the porch. At night, sit around the fire pit and listen to the sounds of the Ozark.

Come stay at the ranch! As we no longer need a farmhand, we are offering the cabin as a place to relax and enjoy the Ozarks at their finest! Come enjoy stunning views, sunrises and sunsets, fresh country air, starlit skies, and of course, cows. All from your porch. The house has been recently repainted, a soaking tub added, and the gas fireplace upgraded. The kitchen is fully furnished and a propane grill provided. This former dairy barn sits on a farm that has been in our family for 150 years. It was our dream to turn it into a cozy, comfortable home that could be enjoyed by anyone needing a quiet country getaway. We are located close to Big Piney River, with river access from almost any direction, Piney River Brewing Company, Big Piney Sportsman's Club, Mark Twain National Forest and about 45 minutes to hour to several accesses on the Current and Jacks Fork Rivers.
