Stone Cottage on Kerr Island

Welcome to the little stone cottage on beautiful Sylvan Lake. We are located in Rome City, IN. This adorable house, originally built in 1930, was remodeled and completely renovated in 2018. The updated kitchen features tiled backsplash, gas range, oven, and fridge. There is a microwave and Keurig for your convenience. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a small wardrobe for hanging clothes, and a dresser. The bathroom features a tiled shower.

Only 15 minutes from Shipshewana Trading Place which is home to the midwest's largest flea market, beautiful Pumpkinvine Nature Trail amid Amish inspired shops and cuisine. The main residence is approximately 400 feet from the cabin. The cabin is secluded and yet close to local attractions, restaurants, biking and nature trails. The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.

Tranquil lake living! The Water’s Edge is a great way to enjoy the lake. It is right on the water with kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and a canoe to venture out with. The hot tub accommodates 6 people. The sunroom has beautiful views as well as a couple of beds that can be used if the weather is nice. There is nothing better than falling asleep to lake sounds and a pleasant breeze! Please no college partyers.

This is a lake front location with lots of great fishing. A pier is right out front to relax on and enjoy the lake. There is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows or just enjoying the evening. You can also use the charcoal grill, picnic table and enjoy a nice lunch outside.
