Quiet log cabin and remote location great for relaxing and getting away. 1 hour drive of Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. 40 min from Mason City, 8 mi. from Osage, IA. 9 mi. from lake Hendricks in Riceville, IA where there is great fishing, beach swimming and river canoeing available! Lots of wildlife to observe and housebroke pets welcome. Fire pit, sauna, large deck for grilling. Longer stays most welcomed. Putting green, so bring putter and chipping wedge. This barn refinished into a rustic cabin will give you the feeling that you are in the middle of the woods while having the convenience of being in town. Located just minutes from downtown Clear Lake, the historic Surf Ballroom, and City Beach, this is the perfect get-away spot! A large upper loft makes this a great option for families with kids or a peaceful adult retreat. Pets are family... so we are pet friendly, but do add a $25 dollar pet fee (per pet) for the duration of your stay.

Watts Theatre Apartment Over Main

This Apartment was lived in by owners/builders of Watts Theatre. Mr. Watts was rumored to be acquaintances with Frank Lloyd Wright who was involved in the planning of the building. You will see many of his features including wide sweeping curves thus eliminating many 90 degree angles. While you stay enjoy watching the movie from your own Private Viewing Space in the second bedroom. There are shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 4pm check out our website for specifics.
