It is about 10 mins. by boat from the main land.Vini’s Farm has one wood house on a stilt with two bedrooms with bath attached. Inclusions-You get whole island to yourself with private chef. Ostrov Sikandang je součástí souostroví Palau Banyak poblíže Sumatry. Jedná se o malý ostrov bez trvalých obyvatel, který v pohodě obejdete za 2-3 hodiny. Po celém obvodu ostrova jsou bílé písečné pláže s blankytně modrým mořem. Celý ostrov je obklopen korálovými útesy, které jsou ideální pro šnorchlování , během kterého můžete obdivovat nekonečné množství barevných ryb a mořských živočichů. Our place is set on a beautiful, small farm island, which was actually reclaimed from the backwaters (Vembanad lake near Kumarakom) by the family. The farm is about 35 acres and is the largest farm on the island. The island is a reclaimed property which was built in the early 1950’s by my husband’s grandfather. The island is called Puthankayal (‘Puthan’ means new) as it was the last island to have been reclaimed in the backwater region for agriculture.
