The Outhouse Country Cottage

Nestled among the Cheviot Hills & Northumberland countryside, this traditional stone-built cottage offers comfort, charm & relaxation. Surrounded by wildlife . A large, private garden is the perfect place to unwind & enjoy the peace. A short drive from Thropton & Rothbury, you’ll find welcoming pubs, local shops, restaurants & nearby attractions like Cragside & Simonside. With character & personal touches throughout, our cottage is the perfect base to explore Northumberland’s beauty & heritage.

Stand alone, wild, off-grid woodland pod

300 yards walk across the fields and over 2 stiles, from the car parking area, totally off-grid camping pod, with solar panel for lighting and USB phone charging, a composting loo and gas shower. Situated in a stunning bluebell wood, with breathtaking views of Cheviot, Simonside and the Coquet Valley. The Pod stands alone, with just the abundant wildlife to share the woods with. The pod is very basic with no heating, a 2-ring gas hob and small sink, and a fire pit area with fallen wood for fuel.

Dene Cottage, lovely rural retreat for couples

A peaceful rural retreat for couples, with walks from the door and being only a short drive away from the stunning Northumberland National Park and Heritage Coastline AONB. Dene Cottage is in Callaly, a quiet hamlet in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, 2 miles from the picturesque village of Whittingham and conveniently located between the towns of Alnwick and Rothbury (each 15 mins drive away). Nearest pub 5 miles, restaurant 5 miles, shop 5 miles. Public transport (bus) 2 miles away.

Sundial Cottage, Northumberland National Park

Located in the Northumberland Village of Netherton this 2 bed cottage located within the Northumberland national Park. The cottage was previously owned by the Armstrong family owners of Craigside and Bambrugh Castle. In the past its been a post office and a sweet shop. Fully refurbished to a high standard to provide guests with a luxurious relaxing stay. Close to all of the Northumberland Coastal and Country favourites as well as some secret ones. Perfect for hill walking, running or cycling.

Lee View Situated in a small rural hamlet of just a few houses, on a hill with spectacular scenery. We have tried to make the cottage a home from home with everything you'll need. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, as well as those wanting to visit the many historic sites and country houses in Northumberland. Lee View is just a 10 minute drive from Rothbury with a Co Op and a variety of other shops. We are 25 minutes from Morpeth and Alnwick. Please note- there are no walkable pubs or shops.

The Coach House at Lynnholm

The Coach House provides secluded accommodation on a West facing hillside with lovely views of the Cheviot Hills. Set in a very quiet location on the edge of the moors, ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching, castles, fishing, touring or just chilling. The cottage has an enclosed garden and large sundecks where you can eat, drink and even cook (barbeque chiminea) outside and watch the sun go down over the distant horizons of the Cheviots and the Otterburn ranges.
