The apartment enjoys good access to public transportation: major bus stops are 1 to 2 blocks away and Columbia Heights metro station is less than a 10 minute walk (Cleveland Park Metro is a short bus ride away). Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis but residential parking permits are required during the week (not weekends) if you plan to park more than 2 hours at a time. There is a separate entrance at the rear side of the house, and a parking space available near the entrance. Our place is ideal toward people staying here for work. No extra guests other than requested and no party or smoking allowed. No pet allowed.

Lovely 1 bedroom basement studio. Private entrance, lots of storage, very quiet and it gets some light. Steps to the Omni Shoreham, short walk to Woodley Park metro station, buses, grocery stores, restaurants and Rock Creek Park. We are very mindful of having the place clean. The house host is a classical piano player, so you might hear some of the music at times. If this is a problem for our guests, we are very flexible with agreeing on piano playing times.
