The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

The Weavers Cottage, Dalmore, Rogart HI-00162-F

The Weavers is a traditional Croft cottage renovated in 2023 to an exceptional standard whilst retaining its original charm and character. Situated at the base of Dalmore Rock, it was built in the mid 1800’s from Dalmore granite. This cosy cottage is perfectly placed to explore the area, being only 15 minutes from the NC500 route and the Sound of Fleet nature reserve, and 20 minutes to Dornoch in the east. 15 minutes west takes you to Lairg the gateway to the west and north Highlands.
