It's an ideal place to relax, enjoy captivating views, venture out on private hiking trails, view wildlife, and dark sky star gaze. Forbes Park is filled with wildflowers in the spring, and has unique access to the SWA public park. It's less than an hour from the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Cuchara Mountain Park. Perfect for couples, this 9x12 one-room cabin is tucked in peaceful arroyos with stunning views of the multiple mountain ranges. Enjoy a true off-grid experience: no electricity, no running water—just quiet and the beauty of the high desert. The cabin includes a clean outdoor toilet and 2 gallons of fresh water for drinking and brushing teeth. You’ll need to bring your own food and cooking supplies. Walk trails on the property or explore nearby hiking routes, ATV trails, and a wolf preserve.
