Holly Brook Barn is a brookside barn conversion in the village of Farlington 30mins to York. With a living room, fully-equipped kitchen with dining table and ground floor bathroom, upstairs there are two bedrooms sleeping four. The main bedroom has a comfy king-size bed and the second is a twin. There is a private enclosed brookside garden with patio and seating areas as well as a summer house. Birds are frequent visitors, with cattle grazing the surrounding fields. Off road parking is opposite.

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a small double bed & wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. It’s about 10 miles from both York and Malton, Castle Howard is under 6 miles away, and the coast can be reached in under an hour. Grooms Cottage sleeps 4 guests+2 babies +dogs

The village has historic Richard III connections, and is ideally situated to explore York, Castle Howard, the North York Moors or the Yorkshire coast. There is a shop/Post Office, and walking routes right outside the door. There are two pubs, The Castle at the foot of the Green, and The Highwayman, which serves good pub grub.
