Mafube Mountain Retreat is a secluded guest farm about 25 minutes from Clarens and is a hikers and nature lover's paradise! It is situated in a stunning amphitheater of sandstone mountains, is child friendly and has very well defined Dinosaur footprints a short hike from the chalets. The Chalet is large and spacious and accommodates 6 people. It is fully self catering with a well equipped Kitchen area. It has stunning views from every window and is surrounded by an unspoiled wilderness area.

The Rondavel has a double bed, bar fridge, gas cooker, tea and coffee station as well as the most beautiful sandstone bathroom with a bath as well as a shower. Enjoy getting lost on walks and marveling at nature.

The Garden Suite @ Village Studio

The Garden Suite @ Village Studio in Fouriesburg is a separate unit with its own entrance. The Garden Suite has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with an old style cast iron bath. The kitchenette has a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the crockery necessary. Guests have use of the shared fenced garden making it ideal for pet owners (fully house trained dogs, by prior arrangement). Linen and towels are provided as well as heaters, electric blanket and extra blankets.

Each of the three bedrooms is a sanctuary of comfort and style, boasting luxurious bedding, comfy electric blankets and its own en-suite bathroom. Franshoek Farm - The Stables Cottage

The Stables, is a basic and rustic self-catering cottage situated on Franshoek Farm, in the Witterberg Mountains, near Ficksburg. The cottage is located on the sandstone bluff, over-looking a magnificent view of the Valley. As farm stay guests, you enjoy a fully equipped self-catering kitchen which enjoins a central living space with a fireplace. There is a braai and central firepit. Please be advised that the 2 rooms are seperated and not conjoined in the 1 unit.
