This little cabin is a perfect writer's or reader's retreat, romantic getaway, or just escape from the world. It also serves as a great basecamp for day hikers, with gorgeous trails nearby. And dogs love it. Come rest, relax, nap in the hammock, sit in the hot tub, & enjoy the peaceful forest.

The cottage has a seasonal mountain view, large gated porch, hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit with edison lights illuminating the outdoor area at night. The cottage is equipped with keyless entry, fiber optic high speed internet, smart TVs, washer and dryer, mini-split A/C and heat, and a fully functional kitchen. The two bedrooms have Sealy memory foam mattresses (Queen).

With stunning views, Out of the Blue Cabin is the perfect little getaway spot to relax and unwind from life's demands. It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel. Bed linens, towels, washer and dryer are included in your stay.

Hand-built 24 × 24 ft treehouse studio crafted from on-site pine and reclaimed barnwood. Two queen beds, a vintage claw-foot tub beside a picture window, and a full wall of glass that frames the forest and nightly Blue Ridge sunsets. Cozy wood stove, reliable Wi-Fi, and a tidy kitchenette with fridge, electric cooktop, and microwave. Hotel-grade linens, plush towels, and thoughtful art details create a dreamy, off-grid-feel retreat for up to four guests. Dogs welcome.

The Home Place at Piney Creek

Unwind and relax at this unique and tranquil getaway! Built in the early 1920's, this farmhouse with a wraparound porch and beautiful views is the perfect place to experience the NC mountains. It is located just two miles from the scenic New River where you can rent canoes, kayaks or tubes and a short drive to the nearest entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Grayson Highlands State Park. You can also explore the quaint nearby towns of Sparta and West Jefferson.

Hurrican Helene did not damage the area. HWY 421 to 77 to 21 is open. Enjoy the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where the second oldest river runs through! Canoeing, fishing, tubing, hiking & the slender of nature. Great for a single person or a couple. Or just sit on the porch overlooking the river and relax! There are great restaurants in town and the feel of small-town people. This is our happy place, and I know it will become yours too.

Nestled in a high mountain meadow just above the New River, this 750 square foot cabin has plenty of amenities and nearly 20 acres for your own private Idaho...there are marked and cleared hiking trails...look for the entrance post to the left "1285."
