Surrounded by 99 acres of conservation forest, you will find abundant wildlife. You can hear the birds during the day and wallabies at night. Eagles soar in the sky. Try stargazing and spot the Aurora. I enjoy the tranquillity and solitude of the place, but it's also special to share with company. 4WD is recommended.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Lune, lunawuni/Bruny Island

Lune, lunawuni is a secluded, eco-friendly cabin set on 2 acres of private waterfront bushland. Overlooking the d’Entrecasteaux Channel, with views of Hartz Mountains National Park, and with direct access to the waters edge of Sheepwash Bay, the property offers guests an intimate, nature immersed escape, with comfort in mind. Lune owners Sarah and Olly acknowledge the Nununi people, Traditional Owners of the land on which the cabin stands, and pay respects to Elders past and present.

The Songbird | Waterfront Escape

Where the sea sings and time slows… On Bruny Island’s quiet edge, The Songbird - a 1960s shack, lovingly restored - offers a romantic hideaway just metres from the water’s edge. Linen-draped interiors, a flickering fire, and an antique outdoor bath invite you to pause. Wake to the morning chorus and the scent of salt air, and soak beneath stars as the world hushes around you. Here, the rhythm of waves meets the melody of birdsong - and everything unnecessary falls quietly away.

After arriving on popular Bruny island it is a joy to leave the crowd behind as you wind down the private road through towering trees to the shores of sheepwash bay. Designed with couples in mind the shack is the perfect place for relaxation and romance. The Bruny Boathouse offers sweeping views across the d’Entrecasteaux Channel to Satellite Island and Hartz Mountain. Centrally located in Alonnah, it’s the perfect base for exploring Bruny’s wild beauty. Slow down with sea air and gum trees, gather by the fire pit with marshmallows, or soak under the stars in the outdoor bath. A family-friendly shack with all the comforts, made for island living.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Relax in one of three architecturally designed cabins in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. Created to inspire guests to disconnect from their everyday reality and surround themselves with a space in nature to take a deep breath.
