A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. The Haven in the historic quarter

A special place to stay in the heart of Tórshavn. Sleep under a grass roof in the car-free area of Reyn: the old town quarter by the harbour - a short walk to the main restaurants, bars, shops, bus terminal and ferry port. You can’t get more central than this! The Haven is simple but charming, nestled among other historic houses in this conservation area. Upstairs, via some steep steps, is the cosy bedroom. When it rains, the gentle sound of raindrops on the turf roof will lull you to sleep.

Placeringen er central. Den lokale købmand ligger 250 m fra huset, og 30 m fra huset ligger kajen, hvor der er mulighed for at fiske. Der er 4 værelser, 2 større og 2 mindre. My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs.
