If laying back in the bubbling hot tub while a brisket cooks on the grill, followed by an outdoor fire with friends and family under the soft glow of string lights in our private backyard oasis sounds like a relaxing end to the perfect day, then this is the space for you.

Your Catawba Island Get-A-Way awaits!!! Both family and pet friendly. Walking distance the Miller Ferry taking you to the other Ohio Islands, as well as State parks and the lakefront make this home truly one of a kind. Enjoy staying in watching the stars around the patio fire ring or step out and enjoy the local amenities. Lakefront Cottage in Huron, Ohio

Welcome! Lakeside Cottage is a newer (2021) architect-designed 2800 sq. ft., 5-bedroom, 3.5 bath pet-friendly home located 15 minutes from Cedar Point on the south shore of Lake Erie less than 5 minutes off of State Route 2 and only 10 minutes from the Cedar Point Sports Center. The house has use privileges at Rye Beach Park and its beach, a 1-minute walk to the west, and Willow Glen Beach, a 5-minute wall to the east along with free access to the nearby Huron Health Club fitness center.

Our cottage is close to the center of Lakeside, within walking or biking distance to the lakefront and Central Park, Hoover Auditorium, Rhein Arts Center, tennis courts, shops and dining. Nearby places to visit include Cedar Point, Marblehead Lighthouse & Lake Erie Islands. This rustic, 1881 historic cottage is great for couples and families (with kids). New in 2022- back deck, refinished upstairs floors, new flooring in kitchen and bath, on demand hot water heater, washer and dryer.

Quiet well equipped home is ready for you! Only a 1/2 mile to the Jet Express and the shops/restaurants in downtown Port Clinton. 1.5 miles to the beach/park area. Bring your boats, remember this is the Walleye Capital of the world! Camp Perry, historic sites, marshlands, African Safari, Liberty Aviation Museum, wineries, breweries, Marblehead Lighthouse, and Cedar Point/ Kalahari indoor waterpark are all close by. We allow 2 dogs max. Please know there is $150 non-refundable pet fee.

It features a queen-sized bed, bath and full custom kitchen along with a smart TV and Wi-Fi. . A park-like yard with a stone fireplace and solar installation awaits. This country property features self contained utilities including a water well, sanitation and electricity. Enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens and baked goods from our farm kitchens.
