Locals in Langebaan

Its just a great space with an open air feeling. A short walk to beautiful Sandy Beach or a stroll along the local scenic gravel paths. Take in the views, smell the flowers and if you are a keen fisherman take a charter with the owner or trip around the lagoon. We have Shark Bay up the road, the West Coast Nature Reserve and so much more. We are kid and baby friendly. The Flat has its own private garden entrance and outside braai area and a gas and panel heater inside for those colder nights.

This beautiful family home is perfectly situated within walking distance to the Shark Bay Hotel and a few doors away from the Farmhouse Hotel. The view is spectacular! There are 4 bedrooms, 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs - 3 bedrooms look onto the Lagoon. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely indoor and outdoor eating area. Enjoy playing boules in the front garden while breathing in the salt air. BONUS: There is domestic quarter. We also offer domestic services at an extra cost.

Discover Sunbird House, your perfect base for West Coast adventure. This 3-bedroom home sleeps 8 and is a leisurely stroll from the Langebaan Lagoon. Enjoy spectacular sunset views, an enclosed pool, and braai area, or explore West Coast National Park, beaches, watersports, and nearby game drives. With a large garden and relaxed coastal style, it’s ideal for families and friends chasing sunshine and nature. Bonus: Two Kayaks available, guests are responsible for safely using the equipment.

House Sonop: Churchhaven

Tucked away on the shores of the West Coast National Park you will find a Private Secure Reserve called Pottebakkery, which is one of the villages comprising the greater area commonly known as Churchhaven. This is where you will find House Sonop, an original fisherman's cottage beautifully restored in the traditional vernacular style. The the position of the cottage shelters it against the prevailing winds yet access to the sheltered waters of the lagoon is a mere 60 meters away.

We are situated a stones throw away from the popular Friday Island and Kokomo beach bar restaurants and only 1km walk to Langebaan Main Beach.
