Rough looking burger joint right under the subway tracks. Very nice basic burgers, hiphop music, and a very urban feeling to it. Don't let the long lines put you off, its worth it!

Very cute little French cafe. Perfect place to have a nice breakfast on a sunny day outside watching people passing by the so-called "Casting Allee" (actually called Kastanienallee). And equally nice if its raining, since its so cozy.

Nice local market with fresh products from the area. Nice food stands, try the Turkish Gözleme or sample free Falafel. Pretty busy, but in a very nice street and also frequented by locals, so worth a visit.

This is the old airport which has been turned into a public park. huge space, super fun in the summer to watch all the people doing their thing. There is also a small area where you can BBQ. And very close to nice parts of Kreuzberg and Neukölln .

Very nice to walk around the Schlachtensee on a nice day. There is also a (pretty crowded) beer garden at the southern end, where you can sit and relax.
