The largest man made lake in the UK and part of the Great Windsor Royal Park, it is a gorgeous 7km walk around the edge of the lake or you can wander further around the park and even walk to Windsor Castle (approx. 18km)

Come out of the front door of the apartment and turn right. Walk along the road and over the railway bridge, after you pass Richmond Wood Road you will see a pathway on the other side of the road.
This is an entrance to Chobham Common which is a Nature Reserve full of lowland heath covering 1400 acres. It is the perfect spot for walking or trail running and you often see deer,birds of prey and may other animals on the common

You can buy a ticket for a tour of the castle or just watch the changing of the guards when the Queen's soldiers march through the town. (This occurs several times per week but times change so check with Windsor Tourist Office).
