Located in beautiful, historic Havre de Grace, Tydings Park is a great place to park and explore the town. Get a snack at The Promenade Grill then walk the waterfront promenade to the Concord Point Lighthouse. Then stroll up further and stop in Bomboy's Chocolates or Ice Cream (across the street) for decadent homemade treats.

Take the path alongside the Senior ball field and walk the waterside path into the Perry Point VA. You'll see deer, groundhogs and hardly a soul.

At the southern terminus of MD Rt 272 (turn right onto Main Street in North East and keep going). An easy hike from the parking lot (parking limited). Worth the drive and the walk for the best view (of 3 counties: Cecil, Kent & Harford) in the area. Take binoculars (and a blanket if you want to hang out) to watch the eagles and ospreys. After visiting the lighthouse, if it's open, take the path to the right down the the water and loop back around through the woods. One of our favorite hikes any time of year.
