I love shopping at Naked Naturals. Everything is organic and the prices are very reasonable. There's also a bakery/deli at the back where you can get healthy baked goods and delicious salads, with quinoa and other healthy grains.

Parksville beach is really great because the tide goes out about 1 km, so the sand gets really hot during the day, and when the tide comes in, the water gets heated and stays shallow for a great distance. It's great for windsurfing and for children to play with their sand toys and run around safely. It never gets too crowded. There's a food stand and food trucks, and a water park for kids and parents to have fun. There's also a boardwalk where you can walk the entire length of the beach.
