Stop on your way to the Lime Kiln Whale watch park. Very beautiful farm, especially when the lavender is in bloom, which is most of the month of July. Great gift shop.

Beautiful drive out to the lighthouse. It looks toward Lopez island where you can see what a narrow bit of water separates the islands. On a clear day you can see Mt Rainer.

Besides checking out where the Americans set up camp while in conflict with the British, it is the location of one of our nicest beaches. South Beach. Also across the St is Mt Finlayson, great walks.

Lakedale offers day passes to those not staying at their facility. They have boats and fishing tackle to rent. Nice place to swim on a hot day. Just stop at the their small store to pick up pass.

Historic. Great deck for lunch or dinner sunsets. Three restaurants to choose from. Beautiful gardens, grocery store, spa, and outdoor pool open to the public. Walk to the family mausoleum.
