Sightseeing
San Luca is a famous church up on the hills with an amazing view and it was an ancient path for pilgrims.
If you like walking, you can walk to San Luca, following the path under the porticoes from via Saragozza (from Porta Saragozza it's about 1 hour and 15). Bologna's porticoes are UNESCO world heritage and they are the longest in the world.

You can get a special bus (it's designed like a train) from Piazza Maggiore to San Luca Church

From June to August there's an amazing open air cinema. You could watch ancient movies under the stars, very romantic.
Under the Portico del Podestà you wil find the whispering walls. Four passages coverage and in each corner there's a niche with a statue over it. If you stand facing the wall and someone else opposite, you really can whisper to each other.

Full of bars, coffees, restaurants and nice shops. Eataly is a big library but also a great restaurant where you can taste amazing food, you can also buy typical products there.

Tortellini are a must in Bologna. I like it with bolognese sauce (tortellini al ragu) or with broth (tortellini in brodo). Also tagliatelle al ragu and lasagna are amazing. Following via delle Belle Arti, you will also find Annamaria's lab where you see a typical italian woman preparing tortellini
