The old mill ruins, ponds and waterfalls are a must when staying here. Just a short walk straight from the door. They really are beautiful. And if you head up towards the pinewoods you will catch a fantastic view over the valley.

High Tor is a stunning vantage point, with far-reaching views over the valley and surrounding areas. It is a great way to walk to Matlock Bath. Head down into town, through the park and then up and over High Tor. It is definitely worth the effort.
