Set in the Marina ideal for local fish or just reading the paper with a coffee on a nice day. This restaurant has been taken over by new owners and seems to be much busier. I have heard good reports but have yet to visit

It is fine dining in the restaurant or beautiful in the conservatory for morning coffee or afternoon tea. One must also have the home made cakes or biscuits too. The only snag is that for this quality it is not cheap.
Take the train from Exmouth to Topsham and it is a short walk into town where the Salutation is half way down on the right

Rockfish has recently come to Exmouth and although we have only visited once so far we had a very good meal. It is fish and chips with a difference in that they have a wide range of local fish and you can have it grilled or fried. At present it seems that booking is essential

Fun restaurant to visit in the middle of the River Exe estuary . Can be reached by water taxi. Only open in the summer season and serves good local food including fish. They have now enclosed a large area so it is possible to visit when the weather is not so good and the views are well worth it. Essential to book
