In my opinion the best Indian tandoori-style restaurant in the city, and very local! Excellent Punjabi & Bengali style food cooked with fresh ingredients - unlike the generic greasy fare that too many substandard restaurants do. Eat in or takeaway.

Seek out the places that were home to world-famous scientific discoveries, cultural revolutions and literary icons. Manchester is particularly famed for some astonishingly beautiful libraries, and in the midst of all the city bustle there are peaceful spots by the canals, and Medieval gems from a quieter age.
