Hey this is great little place I recommend for breakfast lunch or just coffee, pull out your laptop and do work from here. Great food and we are regulars here. They also have a patio in the back so the wait time if it's a weekend is usually short. It's a 5 min walk from home. Ask for Martin and tell them you're staying at our AirBnb home. Give em my name and you'll get a discount. Hours of operation 7am-3pm

El Metro has some great tacos and Mexican food. Small and cozy and close to home.

Whisk is close to home. The food is great and top notch and the decor is sweet. If you don't mind the wait then this little gem of a place is great for you. As for me I prefer not to wait and head to Sunrise cafe 2 doors down. But I'm a breakfast person and Whisk is open much later. Whisk has a great menu and it's usually popular with the younger crowd but families are surely welcome. They do have some sidewalk tables and a patio in the back. I've taught the chef there how to Ride motorcycles at my motorcycle school so he still owes me a breakfast/lunch/dinner there. If you go here I may join you so I can cash in on this. :) Their hours of operation is 7am-11pm.

Parks & Nature
Nice little family park. It's about a 15 min walk but has swings/slides etc. for the little ones, tennis courts, pool and big open spaces for baseball games or just to throw a frisbee or kick a ball around. Smith park has those summer sprinklers open for the little ones to splash around so bring a change of clothes and towels in the hot summer months.

Smith Park
Nice little family park. It's a really great neighborhood park, but my first choice would be to go to Superior Park, then second choice to Commercial. This based solely on how lazy I'm feeling. Commercial Park has a bigger playlot and swings/slides with a medium sized open field. The field is not as big as Smith Park though. Again Commercial Park is great for families and little ones.

Closest to home and convenient for all your grocery shopping and essentials. A 5 min walk from the house. They do have a coffee shop there however I would go to some of the small coffee houses in the neighborhood.

Walking distance from home about 5-10min.
If you need a laundry carrier we have one available for use.

Getting Around
Not exactly a bike rental but think bike with a motor. At our motorcycle school we also rent Scooters for tourists and locals. It's a great way to get around town. If you don't know how to ride a scooter or motorcycle take a class with us and get licensed. It's always a good skill to know. You never know when you'll be asked to do a 007 stunt motorcycle scene. You can check it off your bucket list along with skydiving, paragliding, sumo wrestling and now bad to the bone motorcycle riding. Or you can piss off your parents, hey it' not as permanent as a tattoo. This is you your time now. :)
