Had a great refit and serves really lovely food. Can vouch for the great vegetarian risotto, mussels in coconut milk and desserts. Outside tables too and also has a wine bar and is popular.

Really does the best breakfasts. Not pretentious or too cutesy. It's been around for years and I visit it a lot.

Probably the oldest restaurant in Arundel, Pappadelle does grown up food and wines and is a cosy restaurant with views over the high street. Italian focus. Osteria, a newer addition and serves a simpler, lighter, quicker menu.

Great independent authentic restaurant, selling good quality and interesting food. The service here is super friendly and efficient. Great for grown up lunches too and usually good fish and vegetarian options. I really like its relaxed and friendly atmosphere and I never had a bad meal.

My local pub and the nearest one to Hummingbird. Charlie and Ali who run it are great. There is a nice little garden out the back and seating outside the front. Good beers and although it doesn't do food , you can order any takeaway and they'll give you plates and cutlery. They run lots of events throughout the year such as easter egg rolling, conker and pankcake chamionships and Abba on the hill and dragon boat racing during the festival. Open for a few lunch time hours on Christmas day. Dogs and children are welcome here

Nice pub, over the bridge opposite the Co-op. Friendly bar staff, outdoor seating , has done nice food in the past but I've not been in a while as my local is the Kings Arms.

Lovely walk round the lake and a really nice walk to get there(15 mins), past the castle entrance and along mill road and its stream all the way to the lake 15 mins. Feed the ducks or take a boat on the lake.
