If you like Burgers, Park Burger is the best in town. Small place in a great location in the Highlands. Easy to get to and great food for vegetarians and meat lovers! Check out their tee shirts!

Great Vegetarian food in the very happening locale of Tennyson Street. Clean, fresh and creative Vegetarian and Vegan food in a very beautiful, green atmosphere. The Yuca Fries and Anything from the WOK section of the menu are my favorites, but everything is delicious!

Parks & Nature
Sloan's Lake is a man made lake (accidentally - a farmer had dug a well and found himself with a growing lake instead) which allows water skiing, tubing and paddle boarding (permit required). There is a paved path around the entire lake which is about 3 miles around. Early birds can see the famous White Pelicans on the 17th Street side of the lake, along with the protected geese all around the lake. Can walk from our house - 5 minutes.

Buy any produce you need here for sure - more affordable and great selection. . There are reusable shopping bags you may use for your trip - Sprouts offers 5 cents off per bag. Not major, but at least you are keeping it Green! :)
