Fantastic museum built into one of the largest dams on the Columbia River It's totally free and covers a lot of ground... local history, native american culture, geology, electricity, and how the dams fit into everything. It's totally awesome for families and a good rainy day activity. The drive down to Wenatchee is really pretty too!

This is a fantastic family trail... it's almost flat and takes around an hour to walk. You hike over a raging gorge, along the river, through the woods... it's really a nice way to experience the mountains without too much effort

This is one of the premier hikes in the area. It's about a halfday trip and fairly strenuous. Leave early and have a nice picnic up at the lake, then come back to town to relax and have a celebratory beer!

Be sure to bring your discover pass!
It can get really windy in the afternoons, so if you want to paddleboard I recommend going in the morning. Weekends can be crazy up there too, lots of people.
