Jubala is known for having amazing coffee. This is the sister shop of the original in Lafayette Village farther north. A great place to sip excellent coffee and work on your laptop, or have a meeting.

This is my favorite spot to go grab brunch on the weekends (Sat/Sun)! They open at 11:30, but you probably want to get there at 11:00 if you want to get a seat without a wait. Great menu with local ingredients and they serve breakfast alcohol drinks if that's your thing!

It's a little more expensive, and hard to get a reservation on short notice, but Death & Taxes, another of several amazing Ashley Christiansen restaurants in Downtown Raleigh, sports a fantastic family-style menu of small plates. The food here is absolutely incredible, but like you might expect from a high-end restaurant, portion sizes are on the smaller side.

Bida Manda is quite possibly the best restaurant in Downtown Raleigh! Their simple menu of Laotian cuisine is phenomenal. I highly recommend the papaya salad with duck breast, the chicken curry, or the crisp pork belly soup! But make a reservation one week in advance if you plan to try it out!

I highly recommend the papaya salad with duck breast, the chicken curry, or the crisp pork belly soup! But make a reservation one week in advance if you plan to try it out!
I LOVE Mami Nora's! In my opinion, the best thing on the menu is the chicken with plantains and yucca fries!
