Only 2 hrs from Brisbane is the stunning and exotic Moreton island. Spend the day at Tangalooma Wreck snorkelling in the crystal clear water amongst the most amazing underwater scenery. Relax on the beach - don't forget to take water and a picnic. Exhaust yourself racing up the dunes and be home for dinner.

If you like big mountains and climbing - visit the glass house mountains. Amazing views make the epic climb of either Mt Beerwah or Tibrogargan worthwhile, not for the feint hearted! For the less adventurous Mt Ngungun is a really gentle walk with equally stunning views from the top.
