There's a big food court connected as well as a Theater with modern performances. The park is located along the East Asian/Australian Flyway. From September to November, the wetlands become a major migratory stopover for birds from China, Siberia and Northern Europe as they head south for the winter. Sam Roi Yot Freshwater Marsh is ripe for such bird-viewing opportunities.

You will likely be surprised to hear that Thailand produces a fairly decent Shiraz wine called Monsoon Valley and the vineyards and restaurant sala are located not far from our home. This is a wonderful half-day trip for wine lovers. They offer a full flight of all their wines. To be fair, most of the wines are not great, but 3 are decent and the shiraz has won some awards and is easily drinkable. I've enjoyed bringing a bottle of this shiraz to wine lovers houses and asking them to guess where its from without showing the label. You'll often here people say it's not from France so is it South African or Australian? They'll be completely shocked it's from Thailand.

Monsoon Valley Vineyard
You will likely be surprised to hear that Thailand produces a fairly decent Shiraz wine called Monsoon Valley and the vineyards and restaurant sala are located not far from our home. This is a wonderful half-day trip for wine lovers. They offer a full flight of all their wines. To be fair, most of the wines are not great, but 3 are decent and the shiraz has won some awards and is easily drinkable. I've enjoyed bringing a bottle of this shiraz to wine lovers houses and asking them to guess where its from without showing the label. You'll often here people say it's not from France so is it South African or Australian? They'll be completely shocked it's from Thailand.

This is one of the largest and most visited temples in the area. A good part of a day trip if you are visiting the nearby Hua Hin Hills Vineyard or Pala-U waterfall

French owned Dolphin Bay Resort has a decent restaurant overlooking the beach and is very family friendly. But this is also the place to go for renting stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
For the medium to advanced paddler, try a 30-40 minute paddle out to Monkey Island for an amazing view. Best for days with light to no winds.

A must for a romantic cocktail or taking the kids to the pool. It's an excellent beach stroll as well
