Nice museum for learning about Bergen's history. The museum has old interiors from the 18th and 19th centuries. The Hanseatic merchants traded mainly with stockfish from Northern Norway and grain from the Baltic countries. The tenements in the Bryggen area each consists of several smaller trade houses, each run by a merchant with a journeyman and apprentices. Nice restaurants near by.

Fjellveien is a quite flat path located half way up the Mount Floyen, north to south. Here you get a nice 180 degree view of the city center and many of the areas around Bergen, and all the way to the North Sea at clear days. In the north Fjellveien is the starting point on the Stoltzekleiven trail, so you can walk from the apartment.
