Rent a little cart and they will deliver all your goodies for you so you don't have to carry anything. It is also the home of two stunning black eagles that have made their nest at the waterfall.

I am not a fan of a zoo however should you wish to take a stroll down the road and see some of the African wildlife the Johannesburg zoo is about 700 meters from the house. They host the big 5 and various other animals.

Artists such as Percy Konqobe, Louis Maqhubela, Guy du Toit and Speelman Mahlangu have artwork at the gallery. Everard Read is alongside the Circa on Jellicoe in Rosebank and opens weekly from 9:00 – 17:00 and on Saturday’s at 9:00–13:00.
