Get very good curry and naan right next door to us. The mango chicken is very pleasing, and the samosas are always fresh.

Nice walk from our place to the river.
Start behind the Badlands Community Hall and you can walk down the treed river path into pretty groves and back up. Nice view of the river valley.

Family-friendly saloon with awesome history and wild-west decor. If there's live music it's wonderfully convivial. It's really a destination. Food improves all the time, but prepare to settle-in for slow and sassy service.

Alberta 838(opens May 9) The shortest ferry ride ever! So charming.
The drive out to East Coulee is pretty awesome! Some of the hills look like volcanoes or pyramids. Seeing the stripes in the rock shows you the history of the varied climates that once existed in Alberta.
